•    Goal Setting, Writing a List and the New Year

    Good day everyone,

I thought I would just write a little bit while I am contemplating next year’s goals should be. More time with family and the business of course top the list at this point, but how to use that time are the better questions.

Goal setting is quite important, it gives you a particular item to set your sights on with a time line. For myself, an example for family is setting mini-vacation throughout the year. An example for business is getting a newsletter system, probably Aweber, set up by January 31st.

Writing the list of course is part and parcel to the goal setting. You need to write it down for the extra fact of visualization. You and your family, friends and maybe the world can see what you have in mind and store for yourself for the upcoming year. Some things are stepping stones for the next item or milestone in your life, family and business. I say “and” in there because I, as well as you, need to have a good balance of this time spent building on all those portions.

The New Year, well I am not talking about making a New Year’s Resolution. I am talking about taking some real time to evaluate what is important to, again, you, your family, friends, business and the world. Most folks get a chance for an extra day off or two and this might be that little bit of extra time to think about yourself, your passion, business and whatever else that may be on your mind. The next few weeks should allow you to consider the best path to your happiness than you may have had all this past year.

Yes, I know you have been busy just like me and trying to focus on what you do best or what you should be doing like following your passion. The next few weeks should allow you that special time for yourself. Like I said above, it is for you, your family, friends, business and the world.

    Thanks for reading.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone.
